Fedora has announced an exciting update for its Asahi Remix, a Linux-based OS designed for Apple Silicon Macs. This version makes gaming more accessible by supporting Vulkan 1.3, OpenGL 4.6, and incorporating Wine for Windows game compatibility. With x86 emulation enabling smooth performance of non-native titles, users can enjoy AAA games on ARM-based systems. Though still in development, Fedora plans to further enhance Asahi Remix, aiming to expand ARM gaming capabilities.
